Getting started

Install the suite

Download the Windows installer from the download section and run it. The installer places DojoDraw, DojoWeight, DojoBridge and DojoCaller on your machine and creates start-menu shortcuts.

Activate your license

On first launch DojoDraw runs in evaluation mode. Place your lic.dat license file next to the executable (or use Settings → License → Import) to unlock tournament mode. One license activates the whole suite.

Create your first tournament

  1. Open DojoDraw and choose New Tournament.
  2. Enter the event name, date, venue and number of courts.
  3. Import athletes from CSV, or pull registrations directly from the web platform.

Online registration

How clubs register

Clubs receive a link to the web platform where they enter athletes with name, club, belt, weight class, age category and photo. Registrations close automatically at the deadline you set.

Importing into DojoDraw

In DojoDraw choose Import → From platform (or CSV). Every athlete arrives with their category pre-assigned. Duplicates and category mismatches are flagged before they can cause trouble on competition day.

Weigh-in with DojoWeight

Appointment-based weigh-in

Each club gets a single weigh-in slot sized proportionally to its athlete count — no more chaotic queues. Slots are announced by WhatsApp and email directly from the app.

Bluetooth scale

DojoWeight reads a BLE scale live. A weight is accepted only after three consecutive stable readings (±0.5 kg), so results are dispute-free. Pass/fail is recorded instantly and the passed-athletes CSV feeds straight into the draw.

Running a fair draw

The draw algorithm

DojoDraw builds brackets in the classic TaekoPlan layout. The randomizer keeps athletes from the same club apart for as long as mathematically possible and distributes byes fairly.

Verifiable

Every draw can be re-printed with its seed and full audit trail. Run it live on the projector with the built-in draw animation so every coach sees it happen.

Court distribution

After the draw, categories are distributed across courts with balanced match counts, and numbered match orders are generated per court.

Live scoring & bridge

Connect the PSS

DojoBridge connects to DAEDO GEN1/GEN2 or KPNP scoring systems on the venue network. It captures every point, penalty and round result as it happens.

Automatic advancement

When the PSS declares a winner, the bracket advances automatically in DojoDraw and the result appears on the public web platform within seconds. Manual and hybrid override always stays available to the operator.

Broadcasting

The OBS overlay serves live score bars, result splashes and court tickers on a local URL — add it as a browser source in OBS and you have a professional YouTube stream.

Results & statistics

Live for spectators

The public platform shows live courts, finished results and medal leaderboards in real time — parents follow from the stands, clubs follow from home.

Reports

After the event, export podium lists, medal tables by club, match statistics and full brackets as branded PDF documents for the federation archive.
